Today's News Bulletin

Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s (TDCJ) institutional division has reached a saturation point.  Consequently, very few beds are being made available to the counties.  This is creating a serious backlog/overcrowding of the county jails.

As a result, ABODE Treatment is making available substance abuse treatment beds that may be used by the various county correctional systems to alleviate overcrowding and provide another alternative sentencing possibility for the judicial systems.
