Education and Training Required:

  High School diploma or GED. Some college is preferred.

    Familiarity with the disease concept of chemical dependency and the 12-step model of recovery.

        Previous employment in substance abuse treatment is preferred.

    Ability to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team and receive supervision.

    Ability to maintain good judgment and ethical behavior while interacting with adolescents.

    Valid Texas Drivers License and good driving record preferred.

    Ability to demonstrate discretion and judgment; must conform to confidentiality guidelines.

    Clear criminal history.

    Good moral character.

    Current CPR/First Aid certificate.

    Must be available for In-Service training conducted at facility.

Salary Range:

$7 per hour to $9 per hour (Dependent upon experience and education)
